What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — like your login session — so you don't have to re-enter it every time. Most browsers accept cookies by default; you can change this in your browser settings.
Cookies we use
Authentication cookies (essential)
These cookies keep you logged in to Deckly. They are set by Supabase Auth when you sign in and are required for the platform to function. They cannot be opted out of while using the Service.
Names: sb-*-auth-token — Duration: session / up to 7 days
Analytics cookies (functional)
We use PostHog for product analytics. These cookies help us understand how the platform is used — which features are popular, where users get stuck — so we can improve the product. Data is pseudonymised and not linked to personally identifiable information without your consent.
Names: ph_* — Duration: up to 1 year
What we do not use
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not share your cookie data with third-party advertisers. You will not be tracked across other websites by Deckly cookies.
How to opt out or manage cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to Deckly.
To opt out of PostHog analytics specifically, you can visit PostHog's privacy page or contact us at privacy@godeckly.io.
GDPR and POPIA
We process cookie data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Our legal basis for essential cookies is legitimate interest (providing the service you requested). For analytics cookies, our basis is legitimate interest in improving our product. You may object to analytics processing at any time.
