Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Deckly ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Account registration and responsibilities

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@godeckly.io if you suspect unauthorised access. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscription and billing

Deckly is offered on a subscription basis (monthly or annual). Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated and exclude VAT where applicable.

• Free trials provide full Pro plan access for 14 days. No credit card is required to start a trial.
• Subscription fees are billed at the start of each billing period via Paystack or Stripe.
• Annual subscriptions are billed in full upfront at a discounted rate.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice. You may cancel before the change takes effect.

4. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Deckly, including PowerPoint files, images, and templates ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant Deckly a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

The Deckly platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Ivra Labs and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the platform.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to upload or distribute illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited commercial communications.
• Circumvent usage limits or access controls.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.

6. Service availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime beyond our reasonable control.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from the account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. See our Cancellation Policy for data retention details.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ivra Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunity. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
